Every career pathway we offer is rooted in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). As a premier college prep institution, we’ve carefully designed our CTE framework around specialized Programs of Study (POS)—clear, cohesive educational pathways that seamlessly blend rigorous academics, hands-on learning, Industry-Based Certifications (IBCs), AP classes, Dual Credit opportunities, and early career experiences.

Programs of Study Foundations at Harmony Public Schools

Harmony Public Schools’ Programs of Study (POS) model provides students with a clear and purposeful pathway from early learning through high school. Beginning in Pre-K, Harmony students are exposed to a wide range of subjects, experiences, and career-connected learning opportunities that help them discover their interests, strengths, and talents. This early exposure prepares students to make an informed decision about their future pathway at the end of eighth grade.

At the end of eighth grade, students select a POS based on their interests, strengths, and future career goals. Their selected pathway begins in ninth grade and continues through twelfth grade, allowing students to complete a coordinated sequence of courses that builds technical knowledge, career-ready skills, and preparation for college, industry certification, or the workforce.

To ensure every student finds a path aligned with their unique gifts, Harmony organizes its STEM-infused college prep pathways across seven key Career Clusters:

By applying rigorous scientific reasoning, advanced technology, and mathematical problem-solving across every discipline, Harmony transforms these foundational clusters into vibrant, future-focused career trajectories where every student can lead and innovate.
