Dual Credit /OnRamps Courses
Dual Credit and OnRamps are important components of Harmony Public Schools’ college and career readiness framework. Through partnerships with accredited colleges and universities, eligible high school students may enroll in college-level academic or career and technical education courses that allow them to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. Harmony students may also participate in OnRamps courses, which provide rigorous college-level instruction and allow students to earn college credit through a university partner while completing their high school coursework. Dual Credit and OnRamps courses maintain college-level content, expectations, and rigor and may be offered online, on a college campus, or at a Harmony campus by qualified instructors. Harmony’s college credit programs are designed to help students make progress toward completing the Texas Core Curriculum while supporting the goals of their graduation plan and Program of Study. By participating in Dual Credit or OnRamps, students can reduce the time and cost required to complete a college degree or workforce credential, strengthen skills such as critical thinking, time management, and independent learning, and experience a smoother transition into postsecondary education. Students are encouraged to work closely with their campus counselor or Dual Credit coordinator to select courses that align with their academic needs, career interests, and long-term college goals.
Please contact your campus or speak to your school counselor to get the complete list of your school's Dual Credit classes
