Harmony School of Endeavor-Austin earns top honors at Fort Worth Regional Science Olympiad

Harmony Public Schools-Central Texas is celebrating outstanding results from Harmony School of Endeavor-Austin at the Fort Worth Regional Science Olympiad, where the team earned a top placement and advanced to the state tournament.

According to the final Division B rankings, Harmony School of Endeavor-Austin placed second overall with 62 points.

At the Fort Worth Regional Tournament, Harmony School of Endeavor-Austin earned second place overall out of 15 competing teams, highlighting the team’s strength across multiple events.

Students brought home an impressive list of individual-event medals, including gold medals in Anatomy and Physiology, Crime Busters, and Disease Detectives; silver medals in Circuit Lab, Heredity, Mission Possible, and Potions and Poisons; and bronze medals in Experimental Design and Machines.

The Fort Worth Regional Science Olympiad, hosted by Tarrant County College, brings together middle school teams from across the region to compete in a range of science, technology, engineering and mathematics events that test both knowledge and hands-on problem-solving skills.

“These results reflect the dedication of our students and the commitment of our teachers who prepare them for rigorous academic challenges,” said Area Superintendent Mustafa Altindag. “We are proud to see our students excel at the regional level and look forward to supporting them as they prepare for the state tournament.”

With regional competition complete, Harmony School of Endeavor-Austin will now focus on advancing its skills ahead of the Texas Science Olympiad State Tournament, where the team will compete against top schools from across the state.
