Four Harmony Seniors Earn Life-Changing QuestBridge Scholarships
Candice Keutzer

Full-ride awards open the door to some of the nation’s top universities

When it comes to life-changing moments for students, getting a full-ride college scholarship sits pretty close to the top of the list. This week, four Houston South & West District Harmony Public Schools seniors learned they have been selected as 2025 QuestBridge National College Match Scholars — a distinction that not only recognizes extraordinary academic achievement but also completely transforms their path to college.

These outstanding scholars attend:

  • Harmony School of Innovation–Sugar Land (3)

  • Harmony School of Innovation–Katy (1)

A Full Ride to a Bright Future

As National College Match Scholars, each student will receive a comprehensive, four-year scholarship that covers tuition, books, room and board, and additional expenses. In other words: college, fully paid.

This honor is especially significant considering that only about 30% of QuestBridge finalists nationwide earn a full scholarship through the match process. Students who are not matched still have the opportunity to receive generous financial aid packages through QuestBridge’s Regular Decision round, but for these nine Harmony scholars, the dream has already become a reality.

What Is QuestBridge?

QuestBridge is a national nonprofit connecting high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds with the country’s most prestigious colleges and universities. The organization aims to increase access to top-tier institutions and support students through academic, personal and professional growth.

Participating colleges include some of the most selective schools in the U.S., such as:

  • Rice University

  • Brown University

  • Emory University

  • California Institute of Technology

Overall, QuestBridge has matched more than 19,000 students with full scholarships since its founding, helping talented young people move confidently toward their goals, careers and futures.

Harmony Pride

These four scholars are a shining example of the talent, resilience and ambition found across Harmony Public Schools. Their achievements reflect not only their own hard work but also the guidance of families, teachers and counselors who have supported their success every step of the way.

We couldn’t be prouder — and we can’t wait to see where their journeys take them next.
