Representing Harmony School of Excellence-Laredo are Fatima Reyes, an 11th-grade student; Andrea Montemayor, an 11th-grade student; and Estefania Gonzalez, a 10th-grade student.

Puneet Gugloth and Shashanth Gugloth advanced with their project, “Speaking With Artificial Intelligence,” which examines the capabilities and applications of artificial intelligence technology. After months of research and experimentation, the students reflected on their achievement, saying, “We’re so excited and proud to be heading to the State Science Fair. We worked extremely hard, put in all the effort, and now get to represent our school. All our experimenting, hard work, and dedication really paid off,” said Puneet and Shashanth Gugloth.

In total, more than 80 projects from Harmony campuses advanced to district-level competition, underscoring the district’s strong commitment to STEM education and student research. The students will compete at the Texas Science and Engineering Fair March 27-28, 2026, in College Station at Texas A&M University.

The district congratulates all participants, coaches and mentors for their dedication and hard work. Parents and community members are invited to follow updates and cheer on the state qualifiers as they represent Harmony at the state level.
